Plans and limits
Every plan includes the whole product: quoting, production, artwork approval, the customer portal, storefronts, time tracking, job costing and commission. Plans differ on capacity and on four specific capabilities: the AI assistant, SMS, live supplier catalogues, and API plus webhooks.

Open orders means orders that have not reached Dispatched or Cancelled. Finished work does not count against the limit, so a shop with a hundred-order cap can still have thousands of jobs in its history.
How the limits behave
Limits are enforced at the moment of the action, with a clear message, not silently:
- Inviting a user past the seat cap is refused on save.
- Creating an order past the open-order cap is refused, and so is a CSV import that would cross it.
- Demi stops answering once the monthly query cap is reached, and resumes at the start of the next month.
- With webhooks off, your subscriptions stay saved but deliveries stop. Nothing is deleted, and turning the plan back up resumes them.
- With
suppliers_liveoff, catalogue syncs run in stub mode instead of hitting your supplier.
Trials, lapses and downgrades
- A new signup gets 14 days, on the plan chosen at signup, with a card held but not charged.
- Cancel inside the trial and nothing is taken.
- If a subscription lapses or is cancelled, the workspace drops to Free entitlements. Your data stays: customers, orders, invoices, artwork and history are all intact. What you lose is capacity and the four gated capabilities, until you resubscribe.
- A grace period applies before the drop, and the workspace shows a banner across the top while you are in it.

Insight, then Billing. That page shows your current plan, renewal date and the entitlements above, and links out to the Stripe billing portal for card and invoice changes. See subscription and billing.

Pick on seats first, then on API
Most shops sit on Starter or Premium, and the deciding factor is usually the number of people who need a login, not the feature list. If you need to push orders into another system, or receive webhooks, you need Premium or above.
