Demi, the AI assistant
Insight, then Demi (AI), and inline on the dashboard. Demi answers questions about your live shop data in plain English.

What she is good at
Questions a senior staff member could answer, if you could hire one:
| Ask | Demi does |
|---|---|
| "Which jobs are at risk this week?" | Looks at due dates, current stage and lead time, and names the specific orders where the maths suggests slippage |
| "Which SKUs need a purchase order?" | Reads stock movements, computes burn rate, suggests SKUs with quantities |
| "Who are my top 3 customers this month?" | Sums paid invoices by organisation, with values and what they ordered |
| "What is sitting at the customer longer than 3 days?" | Pulls artwork awaiting approval, filtered by age |
| "How busy is the press for the next 7 days?" | Counts units by due date and decoration method, flags the tight days |
| "Which invoices are overdue and by how much?" | Sums outstanding invoices by aging bucket, with customers and balances |
Suggested prompt chips cover the most-asked questions, so a new shop does not have to work out what to ask.
The boundaries
| Tenant scoped | Every query is filtered to your workspace. Demi cannot see another shop's orders, customers or invoices. Isolation is enforced at the database layer |
| Read only | She answers questions. She does not move cards, send emails or charge cards |
| Not training data | Your shop's data is passed as context for the query and discarded. It does not train the model |
| Available to all staff | Not role-gated, because it only reads what that shop can already see |
Demi runs on Anthropic's Claude.
Plan limits

Getting good answers
- Be specific about the window. "This week" and "in the next 7 days" are different questions.
- Ask for the records, not the summary. "Which orders" gets you order numbers you can act on; "how are we doing" gets you a paragraph.
- Use her for triage, not for arithmetic you will act on unchecked. If an answer will change a decision, open the underlying screen and confirm.
When Demi cannot help
She reads your data; she does not know things you have not recorded. If your staff are not clocking on, she cannot tell you where the hours went. If supplier costs are missing, she cannot tell you your margin. The fix is upstream, in reports' three inputs.
