Subscription and billing
Insight, then Billing. Owner and manager only. This is what you pay for Printer's Friend, separate from the Stripe account your customers pay you through.

Your subscription
Your plan and status, with Manage card and invoices, which takes you to Stripe's hosted portal. Card changes, downgrades and cancellation happen there, and receipts are emailed automatically.
Usage this month
| Metric | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Demi AI calls | Queries used against your monthly cap |
| SMS sent | Messages sent this month |
| Open orders | Orders not yet dispatched or cancelled, against your cap |
| Users | Active staff logins, against your cap |
Watch open orders as you grow. It is the limit shops hit first, and it is the one that stops you creating work.
Changing plan
The plans grid shows every tier with its entitlements and a switch button. Your current plan is marked. Switching up takes effect immediately. Switching down applies the lower entitlements, and if you are over a limit, the affected action is refused until you are back under it.
Full comparison in plans and limits.
Trials, grace and lapses
- New signups get 14 days on their chosen plan, card held but not charged.
- A failed payment puts you in a grace period, with a banner across the top of the workspace.
- After grace, the workspace drops to Free entitlements. Your data stays intact: customers, orders, invoices, artwork and history. What you lose is capacity and the four gated capabilities.
- Resubscribing restores entitlements immediately. Nothing has to be re-imported.
Cancelling
Through the Stripe portal. Two things worth doing first:
- Export what you need. Customer activity CSVs, your invoice PDFs, and any reports. See data, privacy and GDPR.
- Tell your customers if they use the portal or a team store, so their links do not simply stop working.
